Location
 Cedar Cross
Retreat Center is in a rural portion of Franklin County halfway between US-1
and US-401. We are approximately 6.5 miles east from Kittrell, North Carolina. It
takes about one hour from either downtown Raleigh or Durham.
Please follow the appropriate set of directions below that
matches your starting location.
FROM RALEIGH: (Takes 1 hour from downtown)
 | Take US-401 North, Go through Rolesville and Louisburg |
| Continue north 6 miles to Ingleside (US-401 turns right here) |
| Continue straight for 2/10 mile (this is now NC 39) |
| Turn Left on Rocky Ford Rd, and go 3 miles |
| At the Rocky Ford intersection (Melvin's Market is there) |
| Turn Right on Epsom-Rocky Ford Rd, and go only 2/10
mile |
| You will pass on right side tan trailer, brick house, and blue
trailer |
| Turn Right into driveway (that we share with folks in the
Blue trailer). It has a street sign marked, "Cedar Cross
Way." |
| Look for low green sign: Cedar Cross Retreat Center at the
driveway. Come back ½ mile (may feel like a mile) to the Lodge |
| Alternate: Take US-1 North to Franklinton, follow directions
as if from Durham |
FROM DURHAM AND CHAPEL HILL: (Takes 1 hour from downtown Durham)
| Take I-85 North |
| Exit 191 Creedmoor, turn right and go 3 miles on NC 56
into Creedmoor |
| At light, Turn left, (sign to Franklinton and Louisburg) go 1
block |
| Turn Right and continue on NC 56 for 14 miles to
Franklinton |
| Take US-1 North go 9 miles (crossing the Tar River bridge) |
| At Kittrell just after the divider in the road ends, watch
for Phillips 66 on left and Confederate Cemetery

| Turn Right onto Main Street, cross RR tracks, and go 3
miles to Bobbitt intersection |
| Turn Right onto Bobbitt Road and go 2/10 mile |
| Turn Left (sign says to Rocky Ford) and go 3 miles to
Rocky Ford |
| Turn Left on Epsom-Rocky Ford Rd, and go 2/10 mile |

FROM HENDERSON: (Takes about 20 minutes)
| Take NC 39 South, cross US-1 and continue 7 miles to Epsom
(road widens to 4 lanes) |
| Turn Right on Rocky Ford-Epsom Rd (Epsom Grocery at corner) |
| Go 3 miles, pass Joe Ward Rd, road curves to right, pass trailers on
left |
| Turn Left into driveway (that we share with folks in the Blue
trailer). It has a street sign marked, "Cedar Cross Way." |
| Look for low green sign. Come back ½ mile (may feel like a mile) to
the Lodge |
FROM ROCKY MOUNT:
| Take US-64 West |
| Take NC 581 North at Spring Hope to Louisburg |
| See directions From Raleigh to continue from Louisburg |
*When you arrive, unload vehicle at the Lodge and then go to parking
area.
